The Thermaflow Electric Boiler
The introduction of the high efficiency Thermaflow electric combi boiler addresses some of the issues raised by spiralling energy prices and climate change. Manufactured in Scotland by Thermal Innovations (UK) Ltd - using tried and tested components and technology - the boilers are BEAB, WRAS and Building Regulations approved.
Designed to meet evolving needs, the Thermaflow electric combi boiler range has tremendous thermal efficiency. In excess of 99% of the energy input is recycled into the hot water and heating systems. When powered by the Scottish Power Economy 2000 preferential tariff (which gives 18 hours of off-peak electricity every day), the Thermaflow electric boiler is a viable, economic and environmentally friendly option for a complete heating and hot water system.
These boilers provide an extremely fast response to both hot water and heating needs, namely:
Hot water at the taps within approximately 5-10 seconds
Radiators reaching maximum surface temperature within 2 minutes
The integration of expansion tanks allows the fast response and mains pressure hot water at high flow rates. This makes it ideal for power showers, with no need of a booster pump. There is, therefore, no need for a water tank, hot water storage or an unvented cylinder.
The Thermaflow boiler does not require a flue - it can be sited in any suitable internal location (preferably in a suitably sized cupboard) - and since it has no emissions, it's environmentally friendly. This boiler can be used in conjunction with a multi-fuel burner and solar panels, making the perfect choice for those seeking a more efficient and greener alternative.
The range offers mains pressure hot water and is suitable for sealed heating systems and underfloor heating. With a choice of 6 models, there is an option to suit most requirements. An additional benefit of not requiring a flue is the boiler’s suitability for flats and listed buildings.
The stainless steel vessel is guaranteed for 25 years, with ancillary components and expansion vessels guaranteed for 2 years. These guarantees are subject to the standard conditions of installation and annual servicing by an approved installer.
